How you can help

There has been recent concern over the historically low dissolved oxygen concentrations in Hood Canal, a fjord-like side basin of Puget Sound in Washington State, USA.  This website presents background information for this issue (About Hood Canal), introduces the Hood Canal Dissolved Oxygen Program (About HCDOP) that is composed of two complementary arms, one focused on policy and one on science, and is the home site for the scientific study of the HCDOP called the Integrated Assessment and Modeling study (IAM Study).  Here you can access the IAM scientific study observations and data, model details and results, supporting maps, news, and outreach documents for the IAM study.
