Descriptive statistics - Graphical methods


Statistical communication to interested persons can be accomplished through
words, tables, and graphics (including diagrams, pictures, charts, and
illustrations).

Graphics have the advantage that they convey critical information to the
manager in a simplified visual form.

Graphical methods include:

1. Bar graph
2. Pie charts
3. Stem-and-leaf plots
4. Scattered diagrams
5. Box plot
6. Time series plots
