Resources include everything God has created, and includes man’s representation of those resources (i.e. currency). Since God has ordained that man should be in charge of his resources, it is man himself (in whatever specific knowledge/expertise he has i.e. doctors, lawyers, farmers, etc.) that represents the resource. The exception to this is the spiritual aspect of who we were created to be. Our greatest “resource” is Christ in us, the hope of Glory. This cannot be managed but must be yielded to with all that we are. Our responsibility is to maintain in us an environment fit for the King of Kings. We accomplish this by daily subscribing to the Holiness of God and through scriptural directives such as seeking first the kingdom of God; being in the world but not of it; and by bringing every thought captive to Christ. It is when we come to the end of ourselves (and we realize we cannot accomplish this on our own) that we are humbly reminded of our incompleteness without Him.
