Regulated by M308 and V362, which is PID controlled based on TC381, Spray Condenser, Flash Vessel Level Control (LC305/306) Functionality -Optimal level is at the bottom of inner cone flooding the outlet pipe to M305 -Level is controlled by M305 or M6(homogenizer) depending on the step, CIP line (V320, V321) Controls V320, V321is on/off solenoid activated based on step sequence, Product Outlet Discharge (M305) Purpose Flash vessel outlet pump and homogenizer stuffing pump, Condenser Loop (M308, V362, FI308, PHE05, ) Controls M308 and V362 operate at fixed output, FI308 is set-up to assist in controlling flash vessel exit temperature, TC331 -V314 “A” position activates when LSL304 signals low level in Spray Condenser, Product Outlet Temperature (Spray Condenser loop, Vacuum system, V331, V334 and TC331) Purpose Controls flash vessel product outlet temperature, Flash Vessel Level Control (LC305/306) Controls -If V51is open, bypassing M6, the speed of M305bcontrols level. M305 output is PID controlled based on LC305.M6 runs at fixed output -If V51is closed, the speed of M6 controls level. M6 output is PID controlled based on LC306. M305 runs at fixed output, providing proper inlet pressure to M6, Flash Vessel and Condenser (S style) Purpose Rapid cooling of product by flashing, Flash Vessel and Condenser Loop Works with Flash Vessel and Condenser (S style), Condenser Loop (M308, V362, FI308, PHE05, ) Functionality The cooling water to the spray condenser is circulated in a closed loop and after condensation of the steam the water is pumped to a heat exchanger for cooling The lower part of the condenser contains a buffer volume of water and act as balance tank (SC BTD) Excess condensate is evacuated by the vacuum pump M311.
